Fuck. I’m a little scared. I’m really scared actually.
Call me uneducated or whatever, but I’d rather have establishment over Trump.

You are uneducated. Both will reign hell on earth, one more obvious then the other. Ive said it once and I’ll keep saying it: I am glad I dont have to make the choice you guys have to. But then again, whether I make that choice or not, I and many others in this world are fucked either way.

No. I’d rather have an experienced politician without a temper in the White House. I don’t like her at all, but she’s the best candidate.

Yeah, she’s experienced alright....

to me the election about a simple choice
Life or Death

Everything else is just so much fluff

being familiar with OP’s concerns, I’d say he’s actually pretty well educated.

No, you’re right. I don’t love Clinton, but choosing her over Trump is like choosing stale cereal over a bowl of wasps. I’d prefer something else altogether, but I’ll gladly take her over the alternative.

But at least you know what you are going to get with Clinton. Trump is a complete wildcard and lacks consistency. You are right we are fucked either way but at least you know how Clinton is going to fuck you.

I absolutely realize the danger Trump is, I just think a lot of people underestimate who Clinton is and what she stands for. The fact that many people think she is actually ‘progress’ from the current situation the world is in is.....wrong on so many levels.
And yes, Trump is 20 steps backwards, if not more. The only thing I’m saying is, there really isnt a ‘better’ choice in this, or at least a ‘healthier’ choice. Its just.....shitty all around.

True, couldnt agree more with you.

I don’t think anyone here is saying Hillary is progress.

That’s a great take . Yeah I voted Cereal.

My house lost power after voting. Democrat town with a slimebag/piece of shit Republican mayor, do I smell conspiracy?

I think it will be amusing to see how much the president REALLY matters in the scheme of things, and how much of our government is people behind the curtain pulling the president’s strings. To that end I’m grabbing popcorn and a lawn chair.

To be fair, Clinton has done her share of flip flopping too. And your share, and my share, and probably everyone’s share around here.

They represent the country. Do we want Trump representing the country?
![]() 11/08/2016 at 10:20 |

This. I have no problem with people believing Hillary is less bad than Trump as a politician. But as the election has gotten closer people have started thinking she’s *good*, or even the *best*, which is absolutely befuddling.

Were you wearing a tin foil hat?

Only the best tin foil hats folks. Made by Reynolds a tremendous foil.

Not to mention Trump could seriously cost us allies. I wouldn’t blame other countries for deciding that we’re not worth the trouble anymore if we elected that guy. It’s not likely at all, but there’s a chance he could be the thing that sparks the first invasion of US soil, since fewer people would have our back. Trump could potentially cause the end of the country just by existing.

We had Dubya represent the country. He’s not quite as bad as Trump but you could still fill a book with the stupid shit he said. I think Trump would be hilarious until he either resigns or gets assassinated.

FWIW, I’m voting in a way that I hope will make people like you and me less scared.

Because they’re also the commander in chief, which means if they say “Go” the military goes. I know I don’t want Trump to have that power.

To quote Stephen Colbert: “[Donald Trump] flip flopped.. then flap flooped and flupped.”

War isn’t in Trump’s best interests, though. He’s a (shit) businessman, not a politician. War is bad for business.
![]() 11/08/2016 at 12:04 |

You’re kidding right, war is great for business. It internalizes purchasing and ramps up military spending. (which I’m sure he’s invested in)

I’m taking a shot here, you have no concept of what the word ‘reign’ really means.

It’s also bad for trade, bad for Trump’s overseas ventures (though I don’t believe he’s very invested in them), but oh boy is it ever the easy way out for muh economy. Didn’t Trump want to cut military spending by some huge amount? Or am I thinking of Johnson.

English is not my first language, but thank you for focusing on what the discussion is about.

You’re thinking of Johnson, Trump wants to increase defense spending by a significant amount.

Good thing I voted for Johnson, then.
